BFBBMix
BFBBMix is a mod of Battle for Bikini Bottom made by skyweiss with help from other members of the modding community. Its name is a portmanteau and shortening of "Battle for Bikini Bottom remix."
Mod info
BFBBMix is a revisit to Battle for Bikini Bottom with new levels, objectives, and music. The terrain and various objects are constructed entirely of simple shapes, like cubes, cones, and cylinders, using Industrial Park to place them. Most other objects are imported from the original game.
Chapter 1, containing Jellyfish Fields, Downtown Bikini Bottom, Goo Lagoon, and The Poseidome, was released on 14 March 2020.

How to make a GameCube ISO
Obtain a GameCube copy of Battle for Bikini Bottom as an ISO file, then follow these steps.
- Download and open Gamecube Rebuilder.
- Click Image > Open and find your ISO of Battle for Bikini Bottom.
- Right-click
rootand click Export, then find a folder to store BFBBMix in. We'll call this your BFBBMix folder. - Click Image > Close.
- Download the latest version of BFBBMix.
- Extract the
.zipfile into therootfolder inside your BFBBMix folder. (If installing demo: Extract just the contents of thefilesfolder, not the whole.zipfile.) - In GameCube Rebuilder, ensure the checkbox next to Options > Do not use 'game.toc' is checked. Then click Root > Open and find the
rootfolder inside your BFBBMix folder. - Click Root > Save and choose a location to save your BFBBMix ISO.
- Click Root > Rebuild.
How to play on Xbox
You will need a softmodded Xbox with a dashboard such as UnleashX to play BFBBMix on Xbox.
- Extract the contents of a Battle for Bikini Bottom Xbox disc to your hard drive.
- Download the latest Xbox version of BFBBMix.
- Extract BFBBMix so that it replaces files in your extracted copy of Battle for Bikini Bottom. (Note: BFBBMix cannot be played using only the downloaded files. You must have a copy of Battle for Bikini Bottom to install BFBBMix to.)
- Transfer the game to your Xbox as you would with any backup copy, e.g. using a file transfer client like Filezilla.
Demo
The BFBBMix Demo was a preview version of Jellyfish Fields. It was first released on 6 September 2019.
